CKY is an American hard rock band from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Formed in 1998, the group currently features guitarist/vocalist/producer Chad I Ginsburg, drummer Jess Margera and bassist Matt Deis. Closely linked to the CKY crew, featuring Margera's brother Bam, the band found initial recognition through its musical contributions to the CKY video series and the legendary television series MTV’s Jackass.

The band released its debut studio album Volume 1 in 1999, which largely served as the soundtrack to the CKY films. The group later signed with the Island Def Jam Music Group and released ‘Infiltrate Destroy Rebuild’ in 2002, giving the group its first experience of US chart success, going on to sell more than 300,000 copies in the US alone. CKY then released ‘An Answer Can Be Found’ in 2005, followed by their latest studio album ‘Carver City’, released by Roadrunner Records in 2009. The band has sold more than 1 million albums worldwide since their inception.

Over the course of a near 20 year career, CKY has toured the world many times over, repeatedly playing with legendary bands including Metallica, Guns N’ Roses and Deftones, performing at the largest festivals, and selling thousands of tickets to a die hard fanbase as a headliner. The band is refreshed and reenergized with a career-defining new album for 2017, with many exciting details to be announced soon.
