Norwegian metal troupe BORKNAGAR roll in to Highbury Corner’s THE GARGE this winter with a refreshed lineup for their first show on these shores in over 2 decades, as part of their TRUE NORTH euro tour alongside SAOR and CÂN BARDD. Current album “True North” was released last year on Century Media Records and with it’s imposing visual aspect of Årbostadtinden mountain on the cover artwork it signifies a stamp of the direction the band has taken with this release and moving forward. As ever the core of Borknagar focuses upon the elements which make up the foundation of the universe and True North continues these themes with the band setting sail to bring their sounds of evolution and Nordic nature to the UK this November.

"We are truly proud and excited to finally announce the TRUE NORTH European tour 2020 with our fellow adventurers in Saor and Cân Bardd. We set sail in Warsaw November 21st in order to head out for a journey that brings us throughout the whole of Europe, including two dates in the UK. And for the record, last time we played in the UK was in 1998, 22 years ago! Needless to say that we are very much looking forward to this tour and hope to see all our friends, fans and associates join in on the TRUE NORTH adventure across Europe! “
